Today was the day I take another step forward into independence by launching the store on meatcards.com. There you can buy a set of laser-etched beef jerky business cards. I hope this is the start of something big.

The print took 1.5hrs for each half on a Makerbot at Hive76 and I welded each half together with Weldon, a nasty solvent. It mounted nicely on replacement hammer handle.
I need to tweak the design a little. See if you can spot the obvious mistake. When it’s done, it will go up on Thingiverse.

Hutchins has a new book that just launched on June 9 called Personal Effects: Dark Art. (I just got my copy.) The book is a very unique take on printed fiction, so J.C. wanted to create some pretty unique marketing material. He asked me and some other Twitter users to help him out. The book focuses on an art therapist at a mental hospital for the criminally insane. With this in mind, I created a dark piece that J.C. has sent out to super-blogger David Armano for some exposure. This is a super limited series with only two printed, but you can check it out and download it here.
