iPad dummy in progress

I’m working with John Young to make an iPad dummy for use in prototyping and showing off. I just got the back half from NextFab Studio. This half was 3D printed with white ABS on their Stratasys machine. The other half is a piece of water jet cut black glass from Surbeck Waterjet. The glass has a special story with it, but I’ll save that for the next post on this project.
The completed 3D files will also be up on Thingiverse.
