Site realunch

I’m pleased to announce the relaunch of my digital art site: eagleapex.com. Eagleapex.com has always been the only place you can view all my digital artwork. But now there is even more to see. I have added many more works including some of my older digital prints. It has been quite a challenge finding a way for the average viewer to experience on of these large scale works in the same way that I do when creating them. After much searching, I found Zoomify, a flash based interface that allows you to zoom in, pan around, and explore a piece without downloading an entire TIFF file. As before, all my newly uploaded work is licensed under a Creative Commons license so you can download, print, remix, or enjoy in any other way for free.

These digital prints are quite large, and incorporate corrupted and compressed digital images to create a unique textured abstraction. All my work is very process-oriented, this is apparent in my large scale digital prints, as well as my digital watercolors. Both types of work use processes that I developed by myself. And now, there is a much more extensive gallery of digital watercolors for viewing. A digital watercolor is very different from my large scale prints, although they share much of the same inspirations.
